The person I am going to introduce you to is my Guardian Angel… Let me just tell you all one thing – I chose “Guardian Angel” to describe her because that’s what fits her the best. My Guardian Angel is my friend, my strength, and the person I know will never give up on me. I thank her for helping me start my life over, for I will never forget her or what she has done for me.

From a CASA kid to her CASA volunteer

I believe that most of the advocates become more than an adult helping out a child less fortunate. There have been times that I have cried, and many other times that I have laughed with my kids. I hope I do what needs to be done. I know I do what we all do as advocates. Sometimes we need to go way beyond the call of duty and we give our hearts.
